The design of the neck and chest of this harness has been unchanged for centuries. The special design spreads out the load across your dog's chest and shoulders, taking the pressure off the neck. Add in the premium padding choices, and you have a harness that is comfortable and easy for your dog to wear and work in. Very similar to our Polar Ice X-Back Harness, but without the sliding X. This harness is ideal for short backed, or wide backed dogs, or for use under a pack or blankets since there is less bulk across the spine. 1" wide webbing.
Padding choices:
Super plush is a synthetic pile with woven backing. Extremely soft and ideal for thin-skinned, thin-coated dogs. Does not pill up, and is machine washable.
Polar fleece is a Dacron polyester material. Holds a lot of air, so helps with insulation. Water-resistant and machine washable.
Neoprene is a nylon casing over closed cell foam. Virtually indestructible and provides extra cushion for heavy pulling, or for thin-skinned and thin-coated dogs. Water-resistant and resists freezing down to -30 F even if wet. Machine washable.
